In Fall 2018, Esso partnered with Sanrio to launch a brand collaboration campaign featuring the beloved character Gudetama. Customers were able to redeem exclusive Gudetama products using both credit and cash, making the campaign accessible and appealing to a wide audience.
Given Gudetama’s immense popularity, the collaboration successfully attracted existing clients while engaging new target groups, strengthening Esso’s customer base and brand appeal.
