YATA x Hello Kitty – Pop-Up Supermarket


YATA launched its first Hello Kitty-themed pop-up supermarket in Sai Wan, transforming the new branch into a three-month limited Hello Kitty experience. To enhance the campaign, YATA produced a series of exclusive Hello Kitty lifestyle gifts available for sale at the store.
Matrix collaborated closely with the Sanrio team to customize Hello Kitty products and integrate promotional greeting elements throughout the pop-up. Sanrio further supported the campaign with mascot appearances and themed figures, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for shoppers.
The marketing campaign proved highly successful, generating extensive free media coverage and widespread sharing across social media channels. This not only boosted brand awareness but also positioned YATA as a creative retail innovator.
